Me too! I’m really tired of Superhero movies tbh, but a Wes Anderson take on it would definitely take me to the theater. Actually, it would be pretty cool to see Woody Allen’s and Tarantino’s versions too but I doubt any of these directors would make such a film :/

      I have, pretty awesome, right?

I did like Grand Budapest. Wes Anderson is my favorite director, I love his view on the world and he’s movies always make me feel better. Moonrise Kingdom is my absolute favorite movie ever :)

I loved Moonrise Kingdom, the color was just beautiful! Fantastic Mr. Fox is my favorite movies of his for some reason. I am trying to expand my directors, any other directors you would recommend?

Sure! My personal favorites besides Wes are Woody Allen, Quentin Tarantino and Sofia Coppola. I like Tim Burton and Chris Nolan as well but they’re more hit-or-miss for me. Let me know if you see anything from them and what you thought :)

What about you, any recs for me?

I was going to say Woody Allen too. Despite all that ethical controversies, “The Blue Jasmine” and “Midnight in Paris” are my fav. I do love this Spanish director, Almodovar, but I think his recent films are sort hit-or-miss for me too. I really enjoy some of Lars von Trier’s films but they are quite uncomfortable sometimes.

I like Almodovar too, especially the more upbeat movies. Art direction in his movies are always so impecable and I love the strong female roles he usually showcases. Lars von Trier I really don’t like. I think he makes movies just for shock value and I honestly have no patience to all the drama an controversy he creates. But I’ll admit I’m pretty biased on this haha, I’ve had too many years of disliking him.
